Born in Montreal, he is now living in the Magdalen Islands.

Very early attracted by art in all forms, self-taught, he devoured all books dealing with the subject he could put his hands on. This passion was probably passed on by his father, a recognized and versatile artist of his time and also by his teachers, who encouraged him to develop his drawing and painting skills.

During his career, he realized works in various fields including design, photography, illustration, and finally, he now dedicates himself  with great pleasure solely to painting. Writing and playing music occupy a good part of his leisure time and are a fine source of inspiration.

The intimacy of places, people’s attitudes and all natural and urban landscapes, bathed in light, interest him greatly. He is often called “the painter of light”. This light that magnifies the beauty of the world and life to which he wants to pay tribute. Painting is for him an immense and tireless source of happiness. The topics that fascinate him are very diverse and he never ceases to explore the possibilities offered…
