Dion, Eddy

The artist can see and feel the atmosphere of Charlevoix and be inspired by those enchanting sceneries.

At a very young age, Eddy Dion discovers in himself a talent for drawing. He started his academic education in the 70's, where he discovered the technical aspects of oil, acrylic and pastel painting. His preferred subjects are still lifes, urban scenes, nature, marine scenes.

In the summer of 1983, he participated in an educational training course, in New-York, with a portraitist of reputation and his art devotion begun. So that, later on, in 1994 he decided to devote himself entirely to painting. He acquired, in 1995, a house in St. Irenée and transformed it into a studio / gallery.

The artist can see and feel the atmosphere of Charlevoix and be inspired by those enchanting sceneries. After an absence of one year in Charlevoix, Eddy Dion is back in force to Les Éboulements in his new home
