Each new painting strikes a sensitive cord for her because the artistic magic in her imagination often produces a very different result on canvas. She then realizes that all of her heart and soul have produced these emotions to create a painting.

After 30 years of painting figuratively with watercolors, Louizel felt the need for some artistic freedom of expression.

At that time, acrylic was the most well known medium and she very quickly conquered it and adored it.

She works abstractly and semi-abstractly and tries to find a balance between density and her choice of colors. She often works with a spatula and loves to add texture. Each painting strikes a sensitive cord because the artistic magic in her imagination often produces a very different result on canvas.
