My first works of art, colorful and textured, evolved from my rather traditional figurative imagination.

Native of Cap-de-la Madeleine, from my earliest years, I was fascinated by drawing and colors. After finishing my formal university studies, this fascination became my passion and led me to abandon teaching from the early 2000s. Self taught, I began by learning to paint with oil. This is how my first works of art, colorful and textured, evolved from my rather traditional figurative imagination.

After several years of painting and exhibiting, always passionate and constantly evolving artistically, I finally chose to integrate acrylic as a creative medium. This approach, spontaneous and contemporary, allows me to achieve a greater form of freedom and authenticity within the framework of my creations. Professional painter during the last fifteen years, my style is simple, jovial and fanciful and aims to brightens peoples’ hearts.

Recipient of numerous awards of recognition, my work is now exposed in galleries and I annually participate in art symposiums and art exhibitions across the Province of Québec
