Purchasing Policies

APPLICABLE TAXES
The Federal tax (TPS 5%) and the Quebec sales tax (TVQ 9.5%) apply to all items shipped from Quebec. The Federal tax on goods and services (TPS 5%) applies to all items shipped to Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. The harmonized sales tax applies to the following provinces: Ontario (13%), British Columbia(12%), Nova Scotia(15%), Prince Edward Island(13%), Newfoundland and Labrador(13%). There are no taxes on art goods shipped outside of Canada.

CURRENCY
All transactions are in Canadian dollars.

For sales conducted in Canada and delivered outside of Canada, the taxes and customs regulations and or fees imposed by the destination country are not included in the purchase price. These are the sole responsibility of the client. It is up to the client to acquire this information from the proper authorities in his or her country.

FINANCING OPTIONS
Galerie Guylaine Fournier Inc. assumes all financing costs without going through any financial institutions.

Possible financing options:
- 6 months: 0%
- 9 months: 5%
- 12 months: 10%

The payments will be deducted from your credit card in equal payments for 6, 9 or 12 months.

The following cards are accepted:
- Direct payment
- Visa
- Master Card

PACKING
A fee of $75.00 will be billed to you for the packing of your painting or sculpture.
Wooden crates and boxes are custom made for each order and each piece of artwork is protected by a cushion of bubble wrap.

DELIVERY
The cost of delivery is directly determined by the weight and size of the acquired item(s).

The paintings and scupltures can be shipped by a commercial delivery service, bus or postal service.

In every instance, an estimate of the cost of delivery will be submitted for your approval.
